More Prescribed Fire, Not Less

"...the more fire prone the community, the more we should be using prescribed fire," says Lenya Quinn-Davidson in a blog post she authored that sheds light on a trend she's experiencing right now in northern California - the expectation by community members that they will cancel prescribed burning projects due to the extreme fire season they've had there.  "Along these lines," says Quinn-Davidson, "there is a growing body of literature that looks at impediments to prescribed fire in various parts of the country." Read more from the post here.
