CA Fire Safe Council Selects 25 Projects for $3.3 Million in Support

To help communities, agencies and organizations reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire and create fire adapted communities, the CFSC will provide over $3.3 million in grant funds to support activities in at-risk communities in 21 counties across California.  

The projects will utilize $4 million in cash and in-kind match to support hazardous fuels reduction, Community Wildfire Protection Plans as well as prevention, education and outreach.  This generous support demonstrates the value, power and impact of collaboration and partnership between agencies, organizations and communities to create Fire Adapted Communities!  Press release here
