White House Sends $110 Million to Fight Fires this Year

In anticipation of a rough and costly fire season, the White House will send an additional $110 million to the US Department of Agriculture to help bridge the looming gap between the US Forest Service's firefighting budget and the expected additional $200 million need for suppression this year.
